May 7th

This week, Paul and I went to meet one of my internet friends, Kev in Fleet (yep, there is more there than the motorway services!). He's a really nice, good fun kinda guy - we are going to his birthday bash in Guildford on Saturday! Oh, I've popped a pic of him in the gallery by the way, just in case you are interested! (Worth a look!)

Work has been a bit shitty this week, but I am off on a course tomorrow - have to pass an exam so I can be a licensee! God - making me responsible for all that alcohol! Dangerous! :-)) It is bloody years since I last had an exam! Once I pass (!) I have to go to court in June.

Only three weeks until we see Steps at Wembley!

Quotes of the week from customers at work:

Well, I  got 99% in the licensees exam - just the court bit to go now!

Knackered from work - but looking forward to our night out in Guildford tomorrow - should be a good piss up!! The hotel we are staying in has a pool so will have a swim first - problem is I have to be at work in Bournemouth at 9am on Sunday :-(

May 15th

Well, Saturday night was brilliant! Lots of nice people. lots of laughs, lots of drink and, well, lots of snogs actually! :-) All that AND I made it for work in time after an hour and a half drive home in the morning!

May 20th

Yeay! I have got my wines department back! Ok - let me explain - wines used to be part of my section at work, but they took it away from me a couple of years ago and made it part of the grocery section. They have finally realised it doesn't work and from Monday I am getting it back. It's a little bit like the Falkland Islands really - two big sections fighting over a smaller one - not so many bombs and explosions but there have been casualties!!

Got to go to the police station on Monday to prove I am a "fit and proper person" to hold the alcohol license,  Hmmm, think I would definitely fail on the "fit" part and some people could argue about the "proper" bit too!

Steps concert is THIS WEDNESDAY!!! :-)

May 26th

Steps were brilliant! Had a really good night - see the concert review in my "Steps" section! On my reckoning about 30% of the audience were under 15, 30% were their parents and the rest were raving homosexuals, most of whom were camp as tits! (myself and Paul excluded... well, maybe just me excluded then!!) At this point, Paul has asked me to point out that he isn't THAT camp! Hmmmm.

Kev is coming down tomorrow - gonna cook a meal and then going to The Edge in Southampton with one of his mates, (S'ok Kev, I have updated your pic in the gallery!)
