August 18th  Summer Holidays

I am just nearing the end of two and a half weeks off work. Paul should have been off too but he is about to change jobs (congratulations hon!) so had to cancel his time off :-(  So, I have been on my own for most of the time. Luckily the weather has been good so I have had several afternoons on the beach and have also been good and gone to the gym too! Don't really want to go back to work - its nice just doing as you please!!

August 28th  Poorly boy!

My tonsils are doing it to me again! Every so often they just get it into their heads (if they have heads!) to just get infected, swell up and make me feel like shit! So, far they have managed to ignore one dose of antibiotics (well, they pretended the drugs had won for a couple of days and then came back with a vengeance!) but now they are being attacked by a second week of double dose! That'll teach 'em! I hope! The thing is I am gonna get the last laugh because the Doc says that I have to have them out or next time I could end up in intensive care. Hmmm, does that mean it is me or the tonsils that are having the last laugh?! Not sure about that one!
