Wednesday 21st August 

My last day at work for more than a week!! :-) I have a couple of days time owing and then am on holiday all next week. Can't wait! Paul has been away on ship this week... it is the first time we have been apart for so long... I have missed him, but we have both enjoyed having some time to ourselves. I don't really have much planned for my time off - just hope for some nice weather!

Friday 30th August Time Off!

Well, I have had a pretty good week - there have been a few good days for weather - have made it to the beach for a few afternoons which is cool. (Why do I write "cool" when chatting on-line... I never actually say it!)  Went to see "Beauty and the Beast" at the Mayflower on Tuesday. To be honest was surprised how much I enjoyed it... it wasn't as "kiddy" as I thought it would be - the scenery went wrong half way through so a gang of stage hands had to rush manically onto the stage and drag it off which was quite comical!
