January 1st  Happy New Year!

Just got back from London after our night at G.A.Y at Alexandra Palace. God, that place is seriously huge! There were fun fair rides and a full size ice rink as well as the DJ etc. We had a good night although the friends that were supposed to be coming with us were unable to come. The really good thing was that I met one of my first "On-line" friends for the first time. I have been chatting to Myles since I first got AOL over four years ago and we still stay in touch via text message - it is his birthday on 31st Dec so we arranged to meet - it was really good to see him! :-)

January 16th New transport coming soon!

Just heard that I am getting my new car next week! :-) It was "born" off the production line last week and I will be getting it next Thursday. It's a nice new shiny silver Peugeot 307 - I have always had Peugeots and didn't see any reason to stop now! I dare say I will add a pic on here when I get it!

January 27th New car and bad eye

Got the new car on Thursday as planned - I am really pleased with it! It looks exactly like the one in the pic below...

The more I drive it the more great features I find on it... the wipers slow down when you stop at traffic lights, the stereo volume auto adjusts as you speed up and as for the auto climate control... well!! :-) I am now finding an excuse to drive anywhere and everywhere cos I like being in it!!

Apart from all the excitement of the new car, I haven't been too well this week. Have had the cold/flu bug that is going round at work and have felt pretty lousy. On top of that got something wrong with my eye. It has been really hurting and swollen all week; the doc gave me some eye drops on Wednesday but they don't seem to have done anything - guess I will have to go back.
