Monday 2nd September Back to Work

Back to work today to find my desk drawer stuffed full of stuff that no-one else could (or would!) do while I was away. Add to that a BT engineer setting up our new phone exchange in the office right behind my desk... and it all adds up to the usual chaos!

Saturday 14th September Wedding

Went to a wedding today... two friend's of Paul's from P&O - Trevor and Nicky. We went with Dan and Rich, who live just up the road (Rich works at P&O too). I also met Paul's friend Kat for the first time. It was one of the best weddings I have been to... we had a great time... particularly at the reception. Not too much drink, but LOADS of dancing... Dan was definitely "leader of the gang" cos we we were all following his every move! Of course Paul and I stunned them with our usual rendition of Tragedy! LOL

Tuesday 24th September Text messaging gone mad...

Paul sent me a text message yesterday morning... nothing special in that but this one went on to repeat itself twice every hour ever since. I have now received "Have just texted Kat, she says chicken will be fine for tomorrow" FORTY times!! T-Mobile tell me it is a technical problem! Well, yeah, I didn't think you were doing it deliberately!

As you may have gathered from the text message we had Kat round for dinner tonight... she has christened Paul "snooky" and me "snooky 2"! Hmmmmmmm!

Sunday 29th September Afternoon Tea

Dan and Rich took us out for afternoon tea in Wimborne St Giles. Was a really sunny afternoon and we sat outside with our tea and cakes - quoting Victoria Wood sketches (yes, more VW fans!). It is great to have made some new friends as a result of the wedding a few weeks back. Hope we see lots more of them.. problem is that Rich is going off to sea for 6 months with Princess Cruises so that could be a bit tricky!!
