Monday 18th August Back to the Doc's

Have felt a bit dodgy all weekend - kinda got butterflies in my chest. Feels like my heartbeat is all over the place - God, I think I'm a hypochondriac ! I still haven't had the results of my scans so decided to go back to the doctor. My doc is on holiday but saw another in the same practice. They have had the results back - apparently my brain and pituitary are fine, but there is something wrong with the bony casing around the pituitary gland. It's apparently just the wrong shape but they don't think it is causing the headaches. I have to go for more blood tests tomorrow for thyroid and a complete hormone profile (sounds impressive!) Apparently the pituitary gland controls all the others and an under active thyroid can cause the heart to slow etc - also gotta have an E.C.G. next week.
